I know I have been so very lax in writing on the web site recently. My apologies. THese llittle guys are growing so quickly. I cannot believe they will be 7 weeks old tomorrow. Everyone is doing really beautifully. THey have handled our house being full of visitors and garage salers all weekend like little champs. Although they are exhausted. Bob, Robyn and co. we were so sorry to have missed a Sunday with you. I think this is the first weekend without you here. You are really going to be amazed how much these guys have grown. Marie and Dylan, you are more than welcome to visit any day. Pam, it was great seeing you yesterday. This week I will be in and out of the house frequently. Peggy, if you are checking the postings, have fun on your trip- we look forward to seeing you when you get back. We have a few potential new families who have been over to meet Moose and Singer and have had the opportunity to play with everyone and tire them out.
The little guys are going outside more frequently to play, although calling 6 babies back is sometimes tough. Thank goodness they listen!! Tomorrow, everyone gets weighed and checked out! You have all seen them here, now picture the vets office! We go two -three at a time. This is why our vet is one exit away. Picture them taking over the vet office. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and we look forward to seeing you soon. Jamie

The shots went well. Of course no one was happy about them but each little guy went on about his day just fine. I've seen no ill effects. Right now as I write this Singer and Jazz are asleep on my right foot. Oh my gosh, Singer is snoring !!! He talks, he sings, he snores... I absolutely adore him. He's so full of personality. He just woke Jazz up :) she just raised her head, looked at him, bit him on the nose and fell over and went back to sleep. :) They are tooooo cute. I have to reclaim my foot and get moving this morning. I hope each of you has a great day. JG

Good morning all. It has been a busy weekend! The puppies got to go outside both days. Yesterday after playing with Jazz's family four of the puppies slept for hours. The pups tried rawhide sticks for the first time and they were a hit! I think these are a better option than the ears the little guys like chewing on.
First Blooed~~ Jazz 1, Bear 0. Jazz had Bear by the ear and pierced the skin. Poor Bear. He's fine, got cleaned up and went on his way to harrass Singer.
Families, thank you for your visits. It's so much fun for the puppies to see you and play. It's also great for me to see the puppies through your eyes and see how much they have grown week to week. I cannot believe just how big they have become. Today, the "big dogs" get their shots. They are six weeks already. I can't believe just how fast these weeks have passed. I hope each of you has a great day. Jamie

June is here! Good morning everyone. As I write this all the little guys are sleeping on DJ's dog bed, DJ and Moose are sleeping in my spot on my bed and I'm getting ready to mop. Mornings are incresingly hectic around here. Everyone wakes up with the energy of tazmanian devils gone wild. Typically I sneak in to prep everyones breakfast and then it happens. A piece of kibble makes a noise in a bowl or lands on the counter and one puppy (or more) hears this, then they are all awake. So, I have about 20 seconds to open the whelping box, let them all out and have breakfast served. I've become a morning marathon runner because I somehow am effective in doing this at about 4:45 am. I can leap small puppy toys and baby taz's without injury to them or myself. This is when I turn on the lights.
So then everyone chews and plays for about an hour or two and quietly slumps off for a nap (recharge). Somewhere in this time, I write on the website, take a few pictures and mop the floor. So, I need to get going and mop while I can. We are looking forward to seeing the families this afternoon. Have a great day and we will see you later. The Nanny

Okay now, you REALLY have to see this one (enlarge). Singer is asleep in this photo. What is amazing is his balance. See the dowel just to the right of him? He is asleep, yet completely balanced on the other dowel to this chair. He does have a little help because Kaz is sitting in the chair with his feet somewhat tucked under it, but Singer crawled up and rested on the dowel and fell asleep. (5/31/08)

Doggie day spa went well. These little guys are starting to like baths. Bear really wanted to eat the bubbles, he really was too cute. Jazz has developed into a true leader! She is usually the very first to explore something, come when I call the puppies. She is involved in absolutely everything and rules the rest. Jazz has turned out to be our alpha dog (Robyn, you may be in for a challenge!). The puppies got to go outside yesterday. After giving them some quick baths (water play time), I moved their whelping box onto the patio and they went outside! It was a beautiful day and I accomplished the impossible. No puppies or dogs in the family room. I got to mop the floor with an actual cleaning supply!! And the floor was clean (happiness). This lasted until I had them come inside again. This afternoon, if the weather is as great as yesterday I will move them out to the putting green to play. We have been busy meeting new families and it's a funny thing with this litter: these families cannot decide which puppy they want either. I think each of you has gone through this and the trend continues... Things I'd like each of you to start thinking about for your new baby... a vet, have you picked one yet? If you need assistance, please let me know, I will give you a few referrals for your area if you would like. Also, dog food, crates, toys, you need to start stocking your houses and puppy proofing too.
As I write this morning, I have Singer on my lap, he's asleep. Someone is asleep and curled up on my feet I can't see who it is because all I can see is a butt, I think it's baby Moose. Everyone else is asleep in their dog pile on the big doggie bed. I'm going to miss these guys and our mornings together so much. You are going to have so much fun.
Some of you have scheduled puppy visits for this weekend, I expect some of you will call to do so, too. This afternoon and Sunday afternoon work best for us, although I can be somewhat more flexible today. By the way, these visits you have with your new baby are so great for your family bonding and I love that you are willing to give your time to be with and watch baby grow. And yes, you can continue to bring your family and friends. I've got to go, there is still so much packing abd boxing to do and I'm easily distracted wth puppy breath and nibbles I get less and less done around the house daily. :) Have a great day.

Today, each of the puppies gets a bath and their nails done. We'll call in doggie day spa. As much as these little buggers love water, they are still not sure they like baths. Singer and Bear, Bella will quietly tolerate these days. Jazz and Baby Moose are a bit more vocal about their preference to stay dry. Our other little girl splashes and splashes, I'm still not sure if she enjoys it or splashes trying to escape. Oh how they do love being snuggled and dried. As I write this, I have Bear on my lap asleep while Bella and Jazz are nestled on my slippers. They are really too cute.
I hope each of you has a great day, me, I'm already having one.

So much happens absolutely every day! The little guys wake up about 4:45-5:00 and ready to eat! After breakfast they play and play hard, tugging, running, and leaping on one another and then as one, they fall alseep in their little dogpile. It's so much fun being a part of their skill development and seeing the intitial steps toward their adulthood. I'm in love all over again.

Pardon our silence, our Site Manager website has been down for the last few days.
Our little gremlins each have their teeth and they are not afraid to use them. They have each learned that if the grab hold of something they can then tug on it and shake their heads. So fierce... DJ is weaning them these days since this havoc on her nursing. Happily, they are enjoying food, a lot. This morning was the first "smack down". Bear and Jazz went at it, growling at one another. Jazz smacked Bear with a one two sucker hit. Bear wasn't going to take that and he smacked her with his paw. Round one ended with Jazz on top pulling on his ear. Everyone else was rolling around on the floor with their tennis balls, except for Singer who was exploring a bit. He's such a brave little guy. Have a great Thursday.

Here are the new pictures... see attached photos on our web pages and to the left on this page. Each of the puppies is walking, running, and a few of them are jumping on one another. We've started them on soft puppy food with added puppy formula. THEY LOVE FOOD!!! The little guys teeth are starting to come in and they aren't afraid to use them with little nibbles on my legs and toes. Each of the puppies loves cuddling on laps and in arms (thus the nibbles). They are just starting to become interested in toys, puppy balls and safe chew toys. Singer still sings and one of our little girls just got named by her family (D.J.'s All that Jazz~~ "Jazz" for short)... Putting pictures on now. Have a great day. Love the name.

Okay, here it is... the little polar bears are puppies now. This morning marks the first morning where the puppies first woke up when I came in. They greeted me!! They are so funny trying to be ferocious (with no teeth). These little guys have started playing with one another and trying to knock eachother down and bite. Last night they started growling their little puppy growls and two of them were barking. Awwww, fighting over attention- sooo cute. I think I forgot to mention they're drinking water these days. It's messy but they're doing it! New photos are coming

Good morning. It's 5 am right now and our little guys are up and walking around this morning, Each of these guys are more coordinated each day. They are really getting around. Puppy visits are scheduled for tomorrow and Monday. Mother's Day, how fun is that to come pick and/or visit your new baby. We'll see you soon. Thank you for understanding that I really cannot meet today. I hope you have a great day and look forward to seeing you in the next few days. I'm off to play with the puppies. Jamie

Oops, I realized I didn't write yesterday. So here I am late this morning :) The little gremlins are getting stronger every day. Although most of the time they still sleep. When awake, they are starting to whine, growl and continue to crawl all over eachother. Their favorite activity is eating!!!! When they are awake and not eating, they root around looking for food. It cracks me up when Dj is not in the box and I hear sucking noises. Usually one of the little guys has got a foot or an ear of their brother/sister and is either using it as a pacifier or hoping for milk. Little milk faces and puppy breath fill my days, and I love it! On Monday while cuddling and snuggling with Singer he got a hold of my chin. When I tried to pull him off, he sucked harder. So, now I'm sporting a good sized hickie on my chin. I'm now thinking about changing his name to HOOVER. Have a great day!

Out little guys have opened their eyes!!! These sweet guys really change daily. Today, not only have they opened their eyes, they are now crawling with their bellies up off the floor. Yes, clumsy efforts at crawling, but they're doing it. The fFirst round of deworming has happened. Each of these pups is perfect and on the same developmental schedule.
5/4/08
Absolutely every day these little guys do so much more... last evening most of the coordination of these little guys increased, as evidenced by their coordination in moving their feet so that they are almost cwalking. Bellies are still down, eyes just beginning to open up, they are on the move! It's truly incredible! The first stages of walking and with no sight, yet. We have dubbed two of the males: Singer and Dozer. Dozer, because this little champ bulldozes through its siblings. We are looking forward to meeting the new families today. :)
5/2/08
The little guys are growing so very quickly. They sleep in their dog pile and when awake creep forward. These are the first stages in crawling, it's fun to see them develop. Their eyes are almost open, I'm so exicted!!! Their world is just about to open up. Personalities are starting to present themselves, and as such, we are giving them temporary names. The first named is our largest male, Singer. Named this because he 'sings' when he eats.
4/29/08
Eyes are still closed, but what a loving bunch of pups! They love to be cuddled and held. Each puppy is propelling itself forward and gaining strength and speed. They should be opening their eyes in this next week. :)
4/27/08
The babies are 6 days old and continue with their schedule: eat, sleep, search for mom, eat, sleep... THey have become pretty adept at identifying DJ's scent and seeking her out. They have grown so very much in the past 6 days. We have had two families come and see them. In another week we will witness distinguishing characteristics and personalities start to emerge as well as their eyes opening. This is when the fun begins!!! I absolutely love it when they get moving and busy learning to walk, roll, and play. You will too !
4/26/08 The babies eat, sleep, eat, sleep and that's about it. Each of them are so incredibly beautiful. Mom is doing a fantastic job!! We have started to invite prospective families to come see them and visit. For those of you that I have spoken with on the phone and have forgotten to mention: once you have selected a puppy and paid at least your minimum deposit, I recommend and encourage you to come over on weekends and visit, have play dates, and take photos. The puppies grow up so very quickly and as their new family, you should be a part of these changes as well. Our past litters, we have encouraged this and I feel, although it becomes time intensive for me, transitions to new homes are so much easier, you know your new family member and in turn your new family member knows you. AND it's so much fun... JG
4/25/08 Puppies initial vet check. All puppies are healthy and strong.
4/24/08 Puppies dew claws removed
4/21/08 The puppies are here, the puppies are here!! 3 fabulous females and 3 fantastic males!
